The company is owned and operated by longtime friends and colleagues, Kelly Graves and Kevin Oertel. Joining the team is Brian Syrett another former colleague turned multi-disciplined operator and consultant. Together, their professional experience ranges from winemaking, to banking, engineering, fire fighting (literally and figuratively), heavy equipment operation, and of course construction/capital project management.

• Kelly holds a BS and MS in Viticulture & Enology from UC Davis along with an MBA from Sonoma State University. His career began as a “cellar rat” in Sonoma County at a 1,000 ton winemaking facility. From there Kelly gained experience as a lender to wine industry followed by stints as a private label brand manager for a large wine group before landing at Constellation Brands, where he connected with Kevin. Recently, Kelly has been leading a beverage industry manufacturing service business focused on improving winemaking efficiencies. (LinkedIn)

• Kevin is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer with a degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and earned an MBA from Santa Clara University. Kevin holds a California contractors license while also owning and operating a North Bay civil contracting firm. After obtaining his engineering degree, Kevin worked for the highly-respected Summit Engineering. Following this, Kevin has held engineering and maintenance roles with some of the world’s largest wine producers. Holding both the PE designation as well as a contractors license, Kevin’s expertise allows GO Build to offer a full suite of services and solutions. (LinkedIn)

• Brian Syrett earned a BS in Ag. Business & Management, with an additional specialization in Wine & Viticulture, from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and later completed an MBA at UC Davis. His career started in the vineyards and cellars as a Winemaker, gaining hands-on winemaking, quality, and production experience with several wine businesses. Brian’s experience includes supply chain, business transformation, logistics & distribution, and network supply planning. He also founded and operates Mellowstone Ranch, applying his background toward sustainable agricultural and operational initiatives. Brian has leveraged his blend of technical wine knowledge and operational strategy to drive efficiency and innovation in the wine & beverage manufacturing space. (LinkedIn)
